To make it easier for little ones to explain financial concepts and
notions, the Money on Wheels School is an interactive
educational experience. Children will be able, through play and
experiential learning, to understand why it is important to use
money responsibly.
The School of Money is the national financial education program
of the Commercial Bank of Romania addressed to adults, young
people and children. The program aims to contribute to
increasing the degree of financial education through an online
financial education platform with practical courses, workshops,
advice, friendly tests and interactive lessons that can also be
available in physical format.
The Financial Education Platform brings together 21 public-
private entities that aim to increase the level of financial
education in Romania. The platform contains information about:
Accessing a loan; Credit risk; Restructuring of a loan; SEPA for
customers; Small dictionary for payments; Mediation; Payment
via internet banking and mobile banking; Savings-lending.

The members of the Financial Education Platform launched the
Practical Manual for the user of financial services. The Financial
Services User’s Practical Guide is a synthesis of useful
information for current and future customers using financial
services and products, or anyone who wants to familiarize
themselves with concepts in banking, capital markets, insurance,
pensions and leasing.
FinClub is an online financial education program intended for
high school students from grades X-XII, passionate about the
financial market. Lecturers, teachers, trainers, representatives of
the financial markets and of different economic sectors, people
with different professional specializations participate in the
meetings, sharing their knowledge with the youth.

The campaign contributes to increasing the level of financial
education among young people and adults, and through the
online show “La Taclale și Parale” the young people can
participate in a general knowledge competition about financial

The Academic Laboratory is the ASF financial education
program intended for university education in the desire to
achieve the most important objective of the authority regarding
consumer protection, young people being the future consumers
of non-banking financial products and services.
The Financial Journal from The School of Money is a dedicated
tool for those who keep financial records every month: income
and expenses. The journal is made in a friendly and
customizable form available on the program’s online platform.
“The Hour of Risk” is a financial education show about and for
private insurance and pension clients made together with top
leaders and specialists. The show is broadcast by RFI Romania
every Tuesday in prime time, from 5:30 p.m
Start Major is a three-step online educational programme
(financial education course, employability workshop and Online
Entrepreneurship Camp), addressed to high school students
from vocational and technical education who want to increase
their chances of financial independence and career success.

The ABC of Banking, an initiative that aims to create educational
contexts through which high school students develop the
knowledge and skills necessary for a financially independent life.
The objective of the module is to facilitate the understanding, in
a practical way, of some basic financial notions: the elements of
an age-appropriate personal budget, the principles of saving

“The money teacher” is a project that promotes financial
education and social entrepreneurship, especially among
children and young people, initiated by Andrei Popa.
Startarium, the city of entrepreneurs, is the most complex online
platform initiated by Impact Hub and ING Bank Romania
dedicated to entrepreneurs in Romania. It gives them the
resources they need to learn how to build successful businesses,
to work on their business model, to interact with experts or
mentors, and finally, to get their business funded, either with the
help of crowdfunding platform, investors or within the Startarium
PitchDay, an event that offers prizes worth 100,000 Euro cash.
Money on the NetTM is an interactive financial education and e-
commerce platform. Over the course of 8 chapters, learners will
complete a complete e-commerce training and thus be able to
make informed financial decisions in the online environment, in
safe conditions.
Financial education program developed by the Financial

Banometer is a free program for anyone who is facing debt and
other financial difficulties. Through this project, the aim is for the
participants to become more balanced from a financial point of
view, but also to learn healthy habits of personal budget
management.
